We explain the task to you using sentences that simulate trainer instructions.

Introduction (2 minutes):

“Okay, today we’re going to improve our concentration and focus. The exercise is called the Final Concentration Circle. It’s designed to challenge you to stay focused under pressure and make good decisions.”

PHASE 1: FOCUS ON DRIBBLING AND PASSING (10 MINUTES):

Setup: “Form pairs and stand about 10 meters apart. Each pair should have a ball.”
Instructions: “Player 1 dribbles towards player 2, maintaining eye contact. Halfway through, player 1 passes the ball to player 2, who receives it and returns it to the starting point.”
Key points: “Keep your head up, maintain eye contact and be aware of your surroundings. I want to see precise ball handling and clear passes. Focus on the task at hand.”

A means to stimulate emotions:

Visualization: Encourage players to imagine themselves successfully completing the exercises. Use guided imagery techniques before and during the exercises.

PHASE 2: FITTING UNDER PRESSURE (10 MINUTES):

Formation: “We form two teams. Each team occupies half of the pitch.”
Instructions: “Team A starts with the ball. They must complete 10 passes without Team B getting the ball. Team B’s goal is to capture the ball and start their own series of 10 passes. When Team B has the ball, Team A’s goal is to get the ball back.” “The first team to complete 10 successful passes wins. The losing team does 25 push-ups.”
Key points: “Communicate with your teammates, anticipate the opponent’s movements and make quick and accurate decisions. Focus on the ball and the positions of your teammates.”

A means that stimulates emotions:

Focus Triggers: Use specific cues or stimuli to restore focus (e.g. clapping, whistling, or a key word).Teach players to respond to these cues by refocusing their attention.

PHASE 3: SMALL FIELD GAME (10 MINUTES):

Setup: “We are now playing a 4-on-4 game with small goals at the corners of the pitch.”
Instructions: “The goal is to score points in the small goals. At least three passes must be completed before attempting to score a goal. Each team member must touch the ball at least once during each attack.”
Key points: “Communicate continuously, keep your head up and concentrate on the movements of your teammates and opponents. Quick thinking and concentration are required here.”

A remedy that stimulates emotions:

Goal setting: Encourage players to set personal and team goals.
To stay motivated, regularly review your progress and efforts toward achieving those goals.
